Database Engineer (IND-DBE)
Location: Coimbatore, India
In this role, you will help implement client solutions and shape our latest product offerings. You need to be well versed in the latest database design, concepts and software. This is a challenging and fast-moving environment where your dedication to quality is a key to success. Attention to detail, strong time management skills and pride in your work are required. As a Database Engineer / Administrator you will:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership on all database related issues
- Participate in requirements analysis and technical design from a database perspective
- Analysis and review of current database applications offering improvements and enhancements
- Ensure performance of database systems, understand the platform on which the database runs and understand security considerations to effectively design and implement secure solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards/guidelines
- Assist with database builds and setting up staging and production database environments
- Research new technologies/techniques and how they can be used to improve our product offerings
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2 years of database experience.
- Excellent database design skills and complete understanding of relational database concepts
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and T-SQL
- Skilled at analyzing and optimizing indexes, procedures, user defined functions etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent analytical skills - identifies and defines problems; determines probable causes; suggests solutions
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Be highly organized and methodical
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related degree with strong technical background
- Experience with ASP, ASP.Net and C# an advantage
- Experience with DHTML, XML, DTD, XSLT and JavaScript an advantage

Senior Software Engineer (SBU-SSE)
Location: Coimbatore, India
In this role, you will help implement client solutions and shape our latest product offerings. You need to be well versed in software design and development using Microsoft products but interested in learning and developing with open source tools. This is a challenging and fast-moving environment where your dedication to quality is a key to success. Attention to detail, strong time management skills and pride in your work are required. As a Senior Software Engineer you will:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to database and engineering staff across the entire range of technical areas
- Perform some pre-sales engineer guidance on technical issues
- Lead requirements analysis and technical design
- Responsible for code reviews and overall conformance to coding standards/guidelines
- Assist with performing builds and pushing code to staging and production environments
- Research new technologies and how they can be used to improve our product offerings
The ideal candidate should have:
- 4+ years of Web based development experience using Microsoft products (asp, asp.net, C#, Visual Studio etc)
- 4+ years of solid database experience.
- Excellent database design skills and complete understanding of relational database concepts
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 and T-SQL
- Excellent knowledge of ASP, ASP.Net and C#
- Excellent knowledge of DHTML, XML, DTD, XSLT and JavaScript
- Experience with AJAX / ATLAS an advantage

QA Engineer (IND-QA)
Location: Coimbatore, India
In this role, you will work closely with the QA, Software and DB teams to validate that completed technology solutions meet internal and external requirements. You need to be well versed in QA methods and have strong communication skills in a challenging and fast-moving environment. Attention to detail, time management skills and pride in your work are required. As a QA Engineer you are: :
- Responsible for testing components, modules and projects for completeness and quality
- Responsible for recording and tracking anomalies in the defect tracking system
- Working with developers for clarity on fixes and following up where bugs were identified
- Design, author, maintain and document manual and automated test cases.
- Write test plans and other test documentation as necessary.
- Work with technical support engineers to help resolve escalated customer support issues.
- Reports to Senior QA Engineer.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 2 yrs of QA experience
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Be highly organized and methodical
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related degree with strong technical background
- A "can-do" attitude.
Added Advantage
- Write basic SQL queries to validate data integrity.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of lab servers and equipment .
